Christmas Photography Competition

The Christmas season is fully underway now and we know all the children are looking forward to the big day.  To add to the festivities, St Bernadette’s schools  would like to invite our students with the help of their parents, to take part in a Christmas photography competition.  There will be a first, second and third prize for each block.

The photograph should be Christmas themed but should not contain facial images. Closing date for entries is Thursday 16th December . Send your photo to the relevant email below depending on what class your child is in and put the class teacher’s name and your child’s name in the subject bar.

St Bernadette’s Butterflies and Ladybirds

The children of St. Bernadette’s were very lucky to receive caterpillars and ladybird eggs for their classrooms. The children took care of them and watched them grow into beautiful butterflies and ladybirds. The ladybirds were fed greenflies and the butterflies enjoyed some tasty oranges.

Here our some pictures of the children releasing them into the school garden.

Early Start

Senior Infant Book Project

Two of the Senior Infant classes recently took part in a digital book project run by Clondalkin Library, where they had the opportunity to be the authors and illustrators of their very own story book.

The boys and girls loved working with the assistance of Barbara from the library in creating, designing and voicing their own characters and story lines.
