Active Schools Week Day 3: SPORTS DAY 31/05/2023

The children had so much fun in Collinstown Park for Sports Day today. They took part in loads of activities (egg and spoon race, relays, penalties, sack race, dodgeball and rounders to name a few). Then they got to play in the playground. It was such a lovely day! Thanks to all the staff who helped out! 🙂

Active Schools Week Day 2: 30/05/2023

The children had so much fun completing an obstacle course outside today. The weather was lovely AND they got to have their infant teacher Ms Foley back! They were delighted. Thank you Ms Foley for all your help today! 🙂

Active Schools Week Day 1: 29/05/2023

The children had lots of fun doing circuits down in the hall with Ms Bowen. There were 6 stations; wall sit, plank, step ups, bum raises, skipping/ jumping jacks and running. They then had a lovely stretch afterwards. A big thank you to Ms Bowen for organising all of the activities this week!! 🙂

Meeting the chicks 24/05/2023

The children loved getting to hold the chicks today. They have grown so much in the week since they have hatched. The children were very careful no 6t to hurt them and were very quiet so as not to scare them. We all thought Lisa and Chica were very cute!!

Collinstown Park 23/05/2023

The children had so much fun in Collinstown park today. They deserved a break after working so hard in their tests. They had a great time (so did Ms Monahan and Sarah).

No Uniform Day 19/05/2023

The children loved getting to wear their own clothes into school today. They raised money for a great cause. The Laura Lynn Foundation helps children who are very sick. The children were delighted to help.

Baby Chicks 15/05/2023

The children loved visiting the eggs in early start which hatched into gorgeous baby chicks. They were so cute!! We cant wait to hold them next week!!

Maths Trail 20/04/2023

The second class children had so much fun taking part in a maths trail around the school with the help of their parents. It was a beautiful sunny day and the children got to show off their brilliant maths skills while showing their parents around the school.

Congratulations to Kiyah who came second in her Majorettes competition at the weekend. Well done Kiyah! 🙂

Snow Day 10th March 2023

The children had so much fun on yard playing in the snow. They had a snow ball fight. They were FREEZING but it was worth it!!

Big Chill Yoga (March 2023)

The children have been learning yoga poses this year and love taking part in 5 minutes of yoga before a PE lesson. The children loved getting the chance to show off what they had learned by making a yoga book for World Book Day. Each child demonstrated how to get into a different yoga pose. They were absolutely brilliant!
