Ms Heffernan’s class has been working hard on their writing in Literacy Lift Off. They have been working on creating interesting stories with detailed characters and settings. They created a plan for their story, they wrote a draft and then typed the finished product. Have a look at their amazing work. Well done second class!

What a difference a season makes. In the spring we got busy in the school garden and now we can harvest our first crop. Ms Cashin’s class harvested their onions that they planted in the spring. During the week they will be using their onions to cook some homemade pizzas!

We watched a fantastic performance by the Garda Band today. They played lots of our favourite songs and Sponge Bob Square Pants even made an appearance. The children and teachers really enjoyed joining in with all of the singing and dancing!
